More licensees hop on Rainbow Rangers
New US partners are attached to Genius Brands' preschool property, with sleepwear, school supplies, bubble toys and more slated to roll out next spring.
California-based Genius Brands International has signed a number of new licensing agreements for its preschool brand Rainbow Rangers.
GBI inked deals with Global Brand Group’s American Marketing Enterprises (sleepwear), GBG Socks dba Planet Sox (socks and legwear), Dynacraft (bikes, trikes, scooters and wagons), Kiddieland (ride-on toys), Kittrich/inkology (floor décor, stationery and school supplies) and Kid Galaxy (bubble toys).
The retail program is expected to roll out in the US in spring 2019, with additional products launching through back-to-school and holiday.
The new partners join Rainbow Rangers’ master global toy licensee Fisher-Price and global master publisher Imprint, a part of Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group. Fisher-Price’s upcoming range will include dolls/figures, playsets, plush, vehicles, musical toys, role play, technology and interactive toys. Imprint, meanwhile, will develop a line of books including picture books, leveled readers, story books and board books.
Additional licensees include Bentex (master apparel), Handcraft MFG (packaged underwear), Jay Franco (bedding and bath), Global Design Concepts (bags and backpacks), H.E.R. Accessories (hair and jewelry accessories) and T.A.S.T.E. Beauty (health and beauty products).
The first season of Rainbow Rangers is currently in production, with 52 x 11-minute episodes slated to premiere in fall 2018 on Nick Jr.
