More licensees jump on SpacePOP
Following SpacePOP’s June 20 premiere on YouTube, Genius Brands is expanding the retail program for the tween girls brand.
Genius Brands International has secured a number of new North American licensees for SpacePOP, as the company continues to expand its CP program for the music-driven tween girls brand.
Among the newly appointed partners is Madam Alexander Doll Company, which will create a line of fashion dolls and figures based on SpacePOP’s main characters.
KIDdesigns (youth electronics, tech accessories and electronic toys), Mad Dog Concepts (loungewear and sleepwear), Franco Manufacturing (bedding and bath textiles, accessories and room décor), Berkshire Fashions (hosiery, head wear and cold weather accessories) and FAB Starpoint (bags, backpacks and accessories) have also come on-board as key licensees and will begin releasing merchandise in the US this fall.
They join existing SpacePOP licensees including Taste Beauty, Bare Tree Media, Canal Toys, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Imprint.
The retail rollout follows quickly behind SpacePOP‘s June 20 on-screen launch. The series premiered exclusively on the brand’s YouTube channel and has already exceeded three million views. Each episode features original music and focuses on fashion, beauty and friendship. On top of YouTube, SpacePOP is also available on Toon Goggles, PopJam, BatteryPOP and the Kid Genius channel on Comcast’s Xfinity on Demand platform.
