JAYA APPAREL AND H.E.R. ACCESSORIES INK LICENSING DEALS FOR SPACEPOP
Genius Brands International, Inc., the global brand management company dedicated to providing entertaining and enriching ‘content with a purpose’ for toddlers to tweens, has signed two more licensing partners – Jaya Apparel and H.E.R. Accessories — for its new music and fashion-driven brand for tween girls, SPACEPOP, featuring original music produced by Ron Fair; original character designs created by Han Lee; and stories developed by head writer Steve Banks.
“Jaya Apparel has had tremendous success with its collections for D’Signed by Disney, along with numerous other fashion forward aspirational branded lines for tween girls, and we are thrilled to partner with them on a SPACEPOP inspired fashion program that will surely feature fashions that girls must have,” commented Stone Newman, President of Global Consumer Products for GBI. “Similarly, H.E.R. Accessories is the leader in licensed jewelry and hair accessories with every major entertainment brand in their portfolio. H.E.R. recognized SPACEPOP’s potential to become leading tween character fashion brand, and together the collections from Jaya and H.E.R. will deliver to girls the fashions and style they see in the music videos.”
Jaya Apparel’s Vice President of Sales Tanya Zrebiec said: “Jaya is excited to team up with Genius Brands in bringing the Space Pop fashion to life”
“Girls between the ages of 7 and 12 are our sweet spot, and the SPACEPOP brand is a perfect fit with that consumer segment,” said H.E.R.
