Margaret Loesch Joins Genius Brands Board of Director

Margaret Loesch, a longtime TV executive and recipient of several Emmy Awards, has joined the board of directors at Genius Brands International, whose brands include Baby Genius, Warren Buffett's Secret Millionaires Club and Thomas Edison's Secret Lab.
Loesch replaces Jeff Weiss, the president and COO of American Greetings Corp., who will remain an adviser to Genius Brands but relinquish his board seat due to other obligations.
Loesch was the first president and CEO of Crown Media U.S., where she launched the Hallmark Channel. She also was president of television worldwide for the Jim Henson Co., founding president and CEO of Fox Kids Network Worldwide, president and CEO of Marvel Prods. and executive vp of Hanna-Barbera Prods.
Lynne Segall, publisher and senior vp of The Hollywood Reporter also is a board member at Genius Brands, as is former California Gov. Gray Davis and Genius Brands CEO Andy Heyward, among others.
