Update From the CEO
Today I wanted to take the opportunity to share a few thoughts on what was another exciting and eventful week at Genius Brands:
- On Monday, we announced the iOS launch of an all-new, dedicated Kartoon Channel! App, available free on Apple iOS. We are absolutely thrilled at how quickly audiences have embraced the app and at seeing download levels that have exceeded our expectations.
- Next week, after four years of development and production, you can go buy the first toy line from Fisher-Price (a division of Mattel) for Rainbow Rangers, which will be available at Walmart across the U.S., Walmart.com and Amazon. More to come on that soon…
- I continue to be incredibly excited about the future of Genius Brands and of Kartoon Channel!, Rainbow Rangers, Stan Lee Universe, and our upcoming Superhero Kindergarten. While we can’t control the price of the shares, we can control how we manage the business, and that is what drives long-term value for our business. The Genius Management Team is among the most accomplished and pedigreed in our industry. As I have said before, our company is a long-term growth story and we are laser-focused on generating value for shareholders. Keep in mind, I myself am one of the biggest investors in the Company and my interests are fully aligned with our shareholders. I have never sold any of my shares and I don’t plan to. The same can be said of our entire incredibly talented Board of Directors and executive team.
